Hot Chili Sauce
Hot chili sauce has been around for several centuries
from the first crushed peppers sprinkled into a paste to the trendiest
of novelty and specialty gourmet items on the shelves. As both a gift
and décor item, these sauces spice up any kitchen. However, hot
chili sauce can also be used regularly for Cajun, Mexican and American
style meals and BBQ.
Hot chili sauce is available in several countries including the United
States (primarily Texas, the Southwest states, Louisiana and Buffalo
New York) and throughout the Caribbean, Southern American and Asian.
Typically each sauce is true to the native chili pepper available in
that region.
While hot chili sauce may not be for those with sensitive palettes,
it does provide a steady amount of capsaicin to the body. Capsaicin
is the main component in chili peppers, with benefits such as:
• Stimulating circulation
• Improving digestion
• Clearing congestion
• Lowering cholesterol
• Decreasing inflammatory problems
• Releasing endorphins
